Anything that gets too much press and coverage by pretending they are something they aren’t. Science posers, grant whores, new science that doesn’t quite add up, and everything that gets more credit than it deserves.
Are you having a difficult time making your science widely available due to a particular publisher? Do you want to criticize the publishing system, or advocate for a better one?
Is someone (or some institution) refusing to share materials or code with you for no apparent reason other than that they’re just huge assholes? Let us know. We’ll call them up—and if necessary call them out—putting the pressure on them to share.
